IES Angel Tree 2025
As we have done every year since IES opened, the PTO will be hosting its annual Angel Tree again this year.
There are several ways you can contribute.

2️⃣You can make a monetary donation here: https://iesangeltree2025.cheddarup.com. Funds donated through this link will only be used for Angel Tree.
3️⃣Drop off any new toy, gift, or wrapping paper to the front desk before Tuesday, December 16.
4️⃣If you'd like to volunteer your time, please email us at ieseaglespto@gmail.com. We will need several volunteers to help sort during the school day. If you're able to help, even one or two days in the coming weeks, we would be incredibly grateful!
A few things to know about our Angel Tree:
❤We serve ALL children in a home. One child must be an IES student, but we collect gifts for all children who live in the home. For this reason, you may see infant/toddler gifts and adult sized gifts.
❤The PTO does not know the identity of our families. Mrs. Webb is our school side contact and we've developed a wonderful system to keep personal information confidential. She's been instrumental in the success of our Angel Tree over the last ten years!
❤We create an Amazon wishlist to make donating easy for you. However, gifts on the wishlist are suggestions based on the interests/hobbies/sizes for our children. If you see something at a store that you think may be a good fit for one of our students, please send it in!
❤If you're like me, you may have purchased something in July thinking it would make the PERFECT holiday gift; only to find out your child's interests have changed. Send it in! We will find it the perfect new home.
❤For AT we only accept new gifts.
❤We are currently serving 5 families and 14 children, ranging from 2-16 years old. If you have a child in that age range, you know what is trending for the holidays, and odds are we have a child on the list who wants the same thing. Send it in! We will match it with a child.
❤ If you purchase from the Amazon wish list, items can be shipped directly to the PTO!
❤ All gifts must be delivered to the school by Tuesday, December 16th to allow us time to sort items and distribute them to our families.

Mark your calendars and come out to support Independence Elementary at our upcoming Spirit Nights! These fun community events are a great way to enjoy a meal or treat with friends, family, and teachers—all while giving back to our school. Our generous community partners donate a portion of sales from each Spirit Night directly to IES, helping fund school improvements and PTO initiatives.

Meet the 2025-26 Executive Board
Join the PTO for the 2025-2026 School Year. Dues of $10 are for one household membership (including all adults and school-age children living in one home) from the time of payment through May 31, 2026. Membership dues are non-refundable. Each membership entitles the member to voting rights at all PTO general meetings for this school year. Additional membership benefits may be added throughout the year. Membership must be active for 30 days before voting rights are activated, and membership must be valid in order to run for an Executive Board position or chair a committee.
*In lieu of paying the $10 membership dues, 5 volunteer hours may be completed for the school or PTO and logged into the ADDitions volunteer system. Once hours are logged and verified by the school, please email us (ieseaglespto@gmail.com) a screenshot of your ADDitions hours to receive a discount code to eliminate the $10 charge when joining via this collection page.
