IES teachers and staff make the whole school shimmer, and this week is our chance to tell them "thank you" for their hard work and dedication. Please scroll down to see flyers for ways you and your students can get involved. These are all optional--feel free to show your appreciation in any way you choose. 

The PTO will be supplying lunches, treats, and raffle prizes to staff thanks to the generous contributions of our community supporters and volunteers.

Monday: Are you ready for it?

-Get ready to welcome your teacher with a High 5, round of applause, or a small treat!

Tuesday: It’s me hi!

-Write your teacher a note, a card, or poem to share your appreciation.

Wednesday: They’ve got a smile that can light up this whole school!

-Bring or draw a flower to brighten your teacher’s smile!

Thursday: They make this whole place shimmer!

-Wear your teacher’s favorite color. sparkles, sequins, or other flair to show your teacher how they help you shine!

Friday: Shake it off!

-Bring a school supply and help teachers shake off the worries of worn out supplies. (Expo markers, glue sticks, pencils. etc)
